Transatlantic Conversations in March

by | Feb 16, 2022 | 0 comments

Three Friday evenings of transatlantic conversations about resilient discipleship will take place at 7:15pm on 11, 18 & 25 March 2022 at Lodge Road Community Church, Winson Green, Birmingham UK.

Red Letter Christians and Seedbeds School for Urban Leadership will jointly host the evenings, providing a platform to discuss experience of resilience in both the USA and the UK.

The nature and call of Christian discipleship is a core motif to sustaining life and ministry in complex urban contexts. What are the biblical, theological and practical frameworks that can be discerned for faithful, resilient and relevant urban engagement as Christ-followers? How can Christian discipleship inform and inspire our spirituality, leadership practices and vision for God’s in-breaking, new urban world?

Our guest speakers : Shane Claiborne, Danielle Wilson, Tony Campolo, Anji Barker, Mark Scandrette and Leone Martin will endeavour to answer some of these questions in the context of their experience of Sustaining Leadership, Sustaining Activism and Sustaining Creativity.
