Ash Barker invites you:
‘Come and join us for the next step in our urban leadership development journey with a public lecture and launch of Seedbeds at Greenhouse at Barnes Close (the retreat centre we’ve started to bring back to life).Seedbeds is our hand-crafted organisation helping us grow leaders and communities into fullness of life, expanding on the work we started as the Newbigin School for Urban Leadership CIC in Winson Green in 2015. We hope that Seedbeds can give us the freedom to focus this next chapter of our lives on four strategic areas:
· Seedbeds Learning
This includes ‘Change Makers’ emerging leaders programmes and ‘School for Urban Leadership’ accredited programmes that release the unique potential of urban people and places into God’s Dream for fullness of life.
· Seedbeds Local
This includes mentoring, coaching, retreats and incubating to help more local communities (along with current Winson Green, Bromford, Royal Docks and Bonny Downs), become like Seedbeds able to grow their own leaders and responses to God’s Dream in their neighbourhood.
· Seedbeds Global
This includes capacity building and leadership development with our international partnerships and friendships in Burma, Ukraine, Thailand and Australia.
· Seedbeds Communications
This includes our speaking ministry and publishing Anji Barker’s new book “Missionary… not just a position” in September 2021.’
The event will be live streamed on https://www.facebook.com/Seedbeds . The event is free, but an offering will be taken to help Seedbeds fulfil its vision to grow leaders and communities into fullness of life. (Your much-needed support can be given here: https://seedbeds.org/support-us/ ).
